My condolencies and prayers for Gary's family

- Viviana Solano, San Jose, Costa Rica,

I'm sorry I never had the privilege of meeting Gary, but I'm honored to be a friend of his son, Tyler. We call him Tig, and I thank the Lord for him! I'm in youth ministry, and Tig is a regular at our Tuesday Dinner Nights. It's a joy to be friends with Tig and all his buds in 'TDN' here in Prattville. Although I didn't know Gary, I do know this about him: He has a wonderful and good-hearted son! Let's be praying for Tig. My sincere condolences to all who are grieving the loss of Gary.

- Mark Brown, Prattville, AL

Gary and I worked together at Hewlett-Packard for many years until my retirement in 2007. I just found out about his passing and am very grieved. Gary was the kind of person who could always be counted upon to do exactly what he said he would do. He left behind many, many very good friends. My condolances to his family. Gary, you will be greatly missed by all who knew you. Rest in peace

Gary was a true friend to my son Austin and I for many years. His smile and kind heart will always be remembered. My heart is heavy. Austin surfed and skimmed with Gary and Gary even opened his home to Austin when he moved back to Savannah a couple of years ago until he found a place. He always bragged on his children and you could tell they were the light of his life. He was a wonderful person and will be missed terribly.

I met Gary when he first came to work at Hewlett-Packard, and enjoyed his friendship on a day to day basis until my retirement in 2007. I have not seen Gary since then, but he has remained in my thoughts and fond memories. I regret that the many promises I made to him to get down to Savannah were never kept. Just this past Saturday, St.Patrick's Day, he and Bill were on my mind all day. Gary was the kind of man that you liked as soon as you met him, and when you needed somebody to depend on, he was always first to step up. His immediate aquaintences liked him, his HP Family LOVED him, and his friends that we call customers LOVED him. Gary often talked with me with great pride for his family, I know that he loved you all dearly. Gary could always cheer me up whenever I was down. Bob Reeves

- Bob Reeves, Piedmont, SC

Our family will miss his daily phone calls and his unforgetable smile when he was around us. Our prayers to his family and friends, he will be missed
